I'm Back!

So here's the deal.  I have had this blog for a long time and quite frankly have never been very good about keeping it updated or blogging on a regular basis.  However in the last few weeks I have felt a desire to give blogging another go and felt like I have had a number of things on my mind that you just can't adequately express in 140 characters on twitter.

That being said, before I just dove in haphazardly I gave some thought and consideration about what other commitments I have in my life, what I would like the focus of this blog to be and quite frankly do I have ENOUGH ideas to keep this rolling.  Ultimately I have decided that I would like to give it another try and do my very best to keep things updated.

If you cruise through some of my old posts you will quickly discovered that while some of them are pretty entertaining (if I do say so myself) there is really no rhyme or reason to what I posted or talked about.  Which, in some ways, was fine.  My aim at that time was to entertain and laugh about life's quirks.  That is still my aim to a degree but a lot has changed in the last few years since I've posted and I want to have more direction to what I am posting.

Fear not there will always be humor and some randomness here, it's my personality and it just happens.  I would also like to share the knowledge I have about living the best most happy life you can live, not only from my work and training as a mental health therapist but also from my personal experience.  Part of the reason I ultimately became a therapist was because I have waged my own battle against depression and anxiety most of my teenage and adult life.

So here's the goal, to have some blogs that share information and suggestions on how to cope with different situation.  Sometimes having a good time and laughing about entertaining things in my life, and other times sharing bits and pieces of my own journey and lessons I have learned along the way.  If that is something that sounds like you would enjoy and you would like to stick around for more I would invite you to do so and we will see what happens here together.
